'Lightyear' Review: A Total Blast Despite The Generic Plot

If you’re confused over the premise of the Lightyear movie, fear not because they make it abundantly clear at the start that you are watching a film from within the Toy Story universe, and not just any film but Andy’s favourite!

That film in question follows Buzz Lightyear after he and his crew are stranded on a faraway planet, and with no hyperspace crystal to charge their jump into outer space, Buzz takes it upon himself to be the hero that will get the ship off the planet.

As stated, Lighty

'Ms. Marvel' Review: Fun & Vibrant Yet Ever-So Slightly Lackluster

After years of anticipation, Kamala Khan, a.k.a Ms. Marvel, has finally made her live-action debut in Marvel’s Ms. Marvel, a new Disney+ Original Series starring relative newcomer Iman Vellani and joined by Matt Lintz (Bruno Carrelli), Zenobia Shroff (Muneeba Khan) and Mohan Kapur (Yusuf Khan).

'Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers' Review: This Is My Multiverse of Madness

When I first heard that Disney was going to make a live-action version of Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, I was highly indifferent for two reasons: the first being that I was never a big fan of the Rescue Rangers series, and secondly, there is the issue of Disney remaking their animated classics into live-action.

But WOW! This movie was such a great surprise!

The tagline states: “It’s not a reboot. It’s a comeback”, and it couldn’t be any closer to the truth. Unlike previous predictions of it be

'LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga' Review (PS5) | The Best LEGO Game Ever Made!

Games based on the LEGO IP have been in production since 1995, but it wouldn’t be until the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game ten years later that their games would become household names. The original game followed the events of Episodes I-III, with the sequel covering Episodes IV-VI.

Since their entry into licensed properties, TT Games has produced a plethora of LEGO games based on hot commodities like Batman, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, and even a crossover with Rock Band

'The PEZ Outlaw' (Documentary) Review | SXSW 2022

The PEZ Outlaw has to be one of the most interesting yet crazies documentaries I’ve seen in a while. It is in a sense a true-crime documentary, but it is unlike any that you have ever heard of.

Steve Glew was a machinist suffering from depression until he began collecting cereal boxes, a casual hobby that grew exponentially once he discovered PEZ dispensers. An obsession that would turn into one of the craziest law-breaking acts you’ll ever see.

The chances that you’ve never heard of PEZ is lo

'Halo' : A Convuluted Disappointment

Since 2005, Microsoft has been trying time and time again to adapt their most popular video game series, Halo. The project has been passed from studio to studio. It’s seen the likes of Guillermo del Toro and Peter Jackson dabble within the project. After decades in development hell, the Halo adaptation has finally found its footing as a Steven Spielberg produced television series. D23 Predictions for Disneyland Paris

Starting with the preface: predictions! These are not facts, this is speculation based on their likelihood.

Disneyland Paris has never had a big presence at D23. It always gets a mention, but nothing massive is ever announced. But with the construction of the second phase of Walt Disney Studios’ massive expansion ramping up and the popularity of the on-going 30th anniversay celebrations, this could be the first time where the French resort receives its own segment during the Parks panel.

Starring Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Emma Roberts and Tahar Rahim, Madame Web will be the next instalment in Sony’s Spider-Verse. Though plot details of the S.J. Clarkson-directed film are scarce, we can deduce that it won’t be a direct adaptation of the comics, considering the original Madame Web isn’t a superhero.
